Day 04: Day 03: Kokernag-Daksum-Sinthen Top. Embark on a full day excursion to Daksum and Sinthan Top. Sinthan Top is one such destination at a distance of around 48 km from Kokernag and located at a height of 3748 meters, Sinthan-top is the highest pass connecting the Valley of Kashmir with Jammu Division via Kishtwar District. Around 38 kilometres of snaky and uphill drive from Daksum, it’s an adventurous journey. And round the year snow at the top makes it a varied choice for all tourists. The journey to this place is thrilling and so is sliding down the snow-capped peaks. Apart from the normal tourism activity, Sinthan top has a great potential for adventure tourism. With a 360 degree view on its top, the spot is best suited for mountaineering and skiing with the height at which it is located and the kind of mountain ranges it has. Day 05:Today, drive to Srinagar. En route, make a brief visit to Verinag. Verinag is Famous for its beautiful Spring which was built by emperor Jahangir in 1620. The spring which has 80m circumference and is in octagonal shape .  visit to Awantipura Ruins, an 1100year old temple dedicated to Lord Vishnu. Arrive into Srinagar and check-in to your hotel.In the afternoon, visit the Mughal Gardens - Shalimar Garden, Chashmeshahi and Nishant Gardens (Closed on Friday). With terraced lawns, cascading fountains, paint-box-bright flowerbeds with the panorama of the Dal in front of them, the three Mughal Gardens were the Mughal Emperors concept of paradise, where they relaxed with their exquisite queens. Today, they are popular picnic spots. Later, visit the Shankaracharya Temple situated atop a hill. Shankaracharya Mandir is regarded as the oldest temple in the valley of Kashmir. The structure of the temple boasts about the architectural style of those times.It is believed that Shankaracharya, the great philosopher, lived here during his trip to Kashmir. Ever since, the temple came to be known as the Shankaracharya Temple. Overnight in Srinagar.
